I am regular user of the cold plunge… normally keep it between 48-50 which is not always easy in FL, specially has the weathers warms up. I guess it;s related to the fact that I've chosen the "normal" chiller and not the high performance one. I can see that the temperature tends to drop as the filter gets dirtier. I had some issues both with the pump and also with the plunge itself but the Customer Service has been incredibly helpful and solved all the issues. So I am super happy wiht it. Thank you!

Swapped it out with no problem- works great!

Chiller works great. I keep water at 52° but you can bring it down to 42 if desired. Unit has no problem keeping temperature even in the Florida heat of July on the back porch. I will probably upgrade the tub in the future. The one that came as part of the package is fine, but not exactly a piece of furniture to display on the porch. I use the unit every morning and sometimes twice a day. Filters can be bought bulk. You do need to change them somewhat frequently. I usually flush the water once a month I think all our normal maintenance.. I would highly recommend the product. We were worried about noise, but the unit is fairly quiet but does expel a little heat. If you’re considering a small the heat from the chiller unit might be a concern.
